Beauty tips for Men

While the beauty industry often caters to women, it is just as important for men to take care of their skin and physical appearance. Men can look and feel their most confident with basic personal upkeep. While the concept of a full and expensive beauty routine can be overwhelming, there are alternatives. Natural beauty options can be integrated into any man's daily routine that will result in long term benefits.

1.Shaving Tips

Shaving creates a well groomed appearance while helping to soften and exfoliate your skin. Loosen your beard with hot water, then apply a moisturizer before applying shaving cream. The moisturizer absorbs into the skin, while shaving foams generally sit on top. Apply shaving cream and shave using short strokes to ensure more blade coverage and a smoother shave. Rinse with lukewarm water, then rinse in cold water to tighten skin. Follow with an after shave lotion (rather than a cologne) to cool any burning.

2.Cleanse for Men Face Care

Men’s skin usually has large pores and active sebum producing glands. Excess oil production can clog men’s facial pores and cause acne problems. So cleansing is the foremost tip Men Face Care regime.
To cleanse, I have seen men prefer bars to liquid cleansers. It is fine in case you have oily skin. But many times bar soap results into drying out of your skin. If such is a case with you then go for the moisturizing soaps with emollients like glycerin. You can also find the ones made with vitamin E oil, olive oil, or jojoba oil. And if your skin feels tight or itchy after washing your face, it is advised that you switch over to liquid cleansers. A basic gel also works fine.
If you are prone to acne breakouts, go for soaps or liquid cleansers containing salicylic acid or glycolic acid or benzyl peroxide that suits you. All these three have antibacterial properties, work as exfoliating agents as well and get rid of the upper layers of dead skin resulting into deeper cleansing of your facial pores.

3.Finger and Toe Nails

Keep finger and toe nails clipped and finger nails cleaned underneath. Long nails become noticeably dirty very easily, so trim them short for simple upkeep. File down sharp edges on nails after clipping using a nail file. File away any loose skin on your toes and heels with a foot file once a week while in the shower.

4.Moisturize for Men Face Care

Most of the men just wash their faces with soap bar or liquid face cleanser. This is just not enough, as the exfoliating, washing and shaving play tough on your facial skin. Moreover during each shower, you loss natural oils and over a period of time your facial skin tends to get dry, lose its elasticity and with it the aging process starts at an early age. Add to this the dread of placing a sharp blade onto your face every day and you have a perfect recipe for dried out and strained facial skin. To counteract all this, your face needs a good light moisturizer formulated for face to compensate for loss of natural oils and replenish skin’s moisture content and averts razor burns.

5. Whiten Your Teeth Naturally

One of the biggest beauty concerns, right after smooth, clear skin, is a gorgeous bright smile. It doesn’t matter if you’re male or female. Michelle Phan has a DIY recipe that uses strawberries to whiten teeth.
Here’s another reason to lay off the coffee and black tea. They stain. Avoiding them will help you maintain your bright smile.
7.Hair Care for Men

Regardless of your hair type, it is important to use a shampoo that is gentle on your hair. Ingredients such as vitamin E are great for naturally strengthening and conditioning the hair follicles. Don't be fooled by super fragrant shampoos, either. Be sure to read the labels, as these types of products can contain artificial ingredients that don't do much for your hair.

8.Healthy Looking Skin Without Bronzer

This tip isn’t an instant fix, but it’s one of the perks of following the principles of Kimberly Snyder’s nutrition plan, The Beauty Detox Solution, and eating lots of vegetables that contain carotenoids. These foods, like carrots, cantaloupe, oranges, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, pumpkins, and even dark, leafy greens, can give a “tan” appearance to lighter skin tones that makes you look and seem healthier (and honestly, with a diet focused on fruits and vegetables, it probably won’t all be an illusion).

9.Lose Weight with an Alkaline Diet

To lose weight, you need to give your body the best fuel and eat foods that will help push the toxins out. You could be walking around with pounds of “sludge” that latched on inside your body as a result of the Standard American Diet.
Avoiding the skin-wrecking foods I mentioned in the wrinkles section will help a lot because they’re clogging to the body. Once you start to focus on whole, cleansing foods, your body will begin letting go of the fat that’s there to protect you from the chemicals and toxic waste you’ve accumulated.
Eat more foods that steer your body into a more alkaline state, which will help you drop the pounds more rapidly. Be sure to get more of these in your diet
Leafy greens (including sea vegetables)
Ripe fruits
Sprouts
Non-starchy vegetables
Alkaline-forming grains, like quinoa and millet
You may also want to consider having a gravity-centered colonic to remove some of that old, acidic waste (never use laxatives for this purpose)

10. Eyes

One of the very first places we start to notice the signs of aging is around the eyes. And unfortunately, this is the very place that many men tend to neglect. The skin around our eyes lacks in both sweat and oil glands making it highly susceptible to dehydration which can show itself as fine lines and wrinkles. The super soft, very thin layer of skin that surrounds our eyes can develop little expression lines that may grow into unsightly wrinkles quickly. So what should you do? Pick up a hydrating eye cream right away. All you need is a little dab of product under and around each eye to do the trick. It will help hydrate, smooth and protect your skin every day. Apply your eye cream every morning and every evening before bedtime and after cleansing
