White heads normally occur in and around the T-zone. However, like other forms of acne, they do respond very quickly to different home remedies. Here are some home remedies to deal with whiteheads.

Squeeze the juice from half a lemon and add a pinch of salt to it. It is one of the simplest recipes to fight the stubborn whiteheads & blackheads.
Apply the solution on the areas you see the traces of blackheads or whiteheads or both. Wash you face after 20 minutes with lukewarm water.

2.Egg And Honey

These two power packed components are able to successfully banish white heads that occur on your face. Take the whites of an egg and pour in some honey to make a smooth mixture.
Apply the mixture to your face. The egg white and honey mixture tightens and tones the skin and sucks out excess oil. Essentially, it acts as a toner and does a good job of preventing white heads and acne.

3.Sugar Scrub

A homemade sugar scrub can work wonders for your skin. It will help exfoliate your skin to remove excess oil and debris trapped in the pores without causing dryness.
Mix together one tablespoon each of sugar and honey.
Apply it on your face and gently massage in circular motions.
Leave it on for a few minutes.
Wipe it off using a wet washcloth and then wash your face.
Do this once or twice a week on a regular basis.

Garlic works like magic on the skin due to its anti-bacterial properties and its healthy dose of anti-oxidants. Extract its juice and rub the juice on your skin.
It might initially burn but it will work like magic on your skin. Do not forget to rinse it off with luke warm water. You can apply a mild moisturizer later to remove the potent smell of garlic from your skin.

Apple cider vinegar works like an astringent and thus removes excess oil from the skin. Plus, it has antiseptic and antibacterial properties that help fight acne.

Another option is to mix one part apple cider vinegar with three parts cornstarch. Spread it on your face. Leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes before scrubbing it off. Clean your face with a washcloth soaked in warm water. Follow with a cold water rinse to close the pores.

Oatmeal is one of the miraculous ingredients that are used universally for skin care. This is because it soaks the excess sebum from the face.
It keeps the pores clean, healthy and prevents them from being clogged. It helps to reduce the inflammation on the skin that may occur as a result of acne. You can use oatmeal as a scrub by combining it with honey, almonds and sugar or use it as a luxuriating bath.

One of the simplest and most handy products useful for the removal of the black and white heads is toothpaste. Dab on some toothpaste on the affected areas and let it dry.
